WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE TO MENTOR?
Homeless young adults have one thing in common - lack of resources.  The number one resource needed by everyone is other people that are supportive and willing to offer their advice, knowledge, and insights. Homeless young people, ages 18 to 24, have unique needs and challenges and need mentors to guide, support, and assist in finding resources to ensure they can work towards living independently. Faith and Fostering offers Christ-centered community volunteers to each young adults served.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 25 years or older

  • Able to pass all background checks

  • Complete an orientation/training

  • Twice monthly meetings

  • Willing to commit to mentoring for 1 year

  • Love and support with no judgments
